TEACH THEM LORD, YOUR WORD, WILL AND WAYS
By Synthia Esther
When children are so very young and tender they are in dwelt with the desire to learn. Their first steps, first words, and sentences are mile stones on the path to educated growth. God instructs us to teach our children His word, will, and ways, so that when they are older they will not depart from it. - (Proverbs 22:6). I came across a Biblical approach to learning the ABC's through a series of in home school and/or Sunday school lesson programs, and share the fruit with joy along with a prayer.
Dear Holy Father,
It is my desire to teach the children you have allowed to be in my care and influence, the truth of your word.
Open their tender hearts dear Lord, to lean and learn of your will and ways.
May they grow up to know your love, and show your love to a lost world in need of your saving mercy and grace.
Grant me the wisdom, knowledge, and discernment, to teach them to learn to love you more each and every day.
Guard their hearts, turn their ears, to listen to your Holy Spiritual call, to always obey your word, so that all will go well with their soul.
In your precious Holy Name, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
